Birthdays always make me pause for a second. Not in a dramatic way. Just one of those moments where you sit back and think about how far life has taken you so far. Say mayne… getting older is funny. When you’re younger, you think life is supposed to look a certain way by a certain age. But the truth is? Life rarely follows the timeline we imagine.

And honestly… that’s not always a bad thing.

Because some of the most important lessons come from the unexpected detours. The moments where things didn’t go the way you thought they would. The seasons where you had to figure yourself out all over again. I’m not gone hold you… every year I feel more comfortable in my own skin.

More confident in the direction I’m moving. More intentional about the kind of life I’m building. And that feels like the real gift of getting older.

Perspective.

Understanding.

Clarity.

So today I’m grateful. Grateful for the lessons. Grateful for the growth. Grateful for the journey that’s still unfolding. Because if the last few years have taught me anything, it’s this:

The story is far from finished.
