I Don't Really Do Resolutions
Every year around this time the internet starts talking about resolutions.
New habits.
New routines.
New versions of ourselves.
And I’m not mad at it.
But I’m not gone hold you… I’ve never really been a resolution person. Say mayne… life doesn’t change overnight just because the calendar flips. Real change happens slower than that. It happens in quiet decisions. The kind where you wake up one day and realize you’re thinking differently than you used to. Handling things differently.
Dreaming bigger.
I think for me, the start of a new year is less about making a long list of promises to myself… and more about checking in with the vision. Am I still moving in the direction I want to go?
Am I building the life I imagined for myself? Am I staying honest about what matters and what doesn’t?
Because once you’re clear on the direction, everything else starts falling into place. You don’t need a hundred resolutions. You just need a vision strong enough to guide your decisions. And right now? I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
Still building.
Still writing.
Still dreaming a little bigger every year.
A Thought That Won’t Leave Me Alone
You don’t have to rush the process when you know where you’re going.
Anyway… back to building
